Twisted Thoughts

Concept: I've always had a skewed way of looking at things. I'm always cracking jokes and making odd funny comments about the world around me, tossing out bad puns or dad jokes, etc. When someone says something about it, I tell them they're lucky, they only hear the ones that actually come out of my mouth. I've gotta live with all of them that pop into my head whether I like it or not. This song is about the fact that only about 10% of the sick, weird, twisted stuff that pops into my head ever actually makes it out.

Facts Don't Matter

Concept We live in a world these days where facts don't matter on either side of the political spectrum. We log on and see what we want to see, hear what we want to hear. The algorithems of the interwebs filter what you see based on what you gravitate towards to a point where the only thing you hear is what you want to believe. If you provide the other side with facts they question where the facts came from. Fake news. Made up story. How can you possibly have an intelligent discussion with someone, much less change their mind about a topic, if you can't even agree that up is up and down is down?

Concept: I just wanted a fun song that started with all the benefits of eating healthy, then ended with the futility of it all since we're all gonna die. Yep, that's one of the 10% that slipped outta my head.
